What this table covers
The supply chain, from salvage to dinner.
This table lists confirmed resources and observed items, their likely use and where they come from. It is not a spawn-rate table. The world is procedural, and loot distribution has been rebalanced repeatedly.
Some entries are deliberately broad (“food”, “water”) because the public materials do not name every food item or water source. Specific items are included when a developer note or official screenshot gives us a name.
The developer, publisher or store page states it directly.
It appears in an official screenshot or pre-launch build. The value may change.
It is on the roadmap or in an Early Access statement, not necessarily in the current build.
We found no primary source. Treat it as unknown, not as a fact.

Filter by item category
| Item / resource | Category | Use | Detail | Source |
|---|---|---|---|---|
Fuel / gasolineConfirmed Found: Abandoned vehicles, gas stations, cabins, wrecks and other points of interest | Fuel & fluids | Keeps the car, generator and powered equipment running. | Fuel is the core pressure in Arctic Drive. The store description says the fuel gauge is more dangerous than the Arctic itself, and the press kit lists fuel as a scavenge target. Fuel tooltips were made clearer and color-coded in demo v0.19.2. Exact tank sizes and consumption rates are not published as universal values. | |
Jerrycan (20 L)Confirmed Found: Craftable; also found as loot | Fuel & fluids | Portable fuel storage and refuelling. | A July 2026 patch added craftable 20-liter jerrycans. A later patch made the jerrycan fit in the trunk. The jerrycan is physical cargo: it can shift in a crash or storm, and it adds weight. | |
OilConfirmed Found: POIs, wrecks and garages | Fuel & fluids | Engine maintenance fluid. | The engine inspection panel shows an oil mixture and capacity. The publisher lists oil as a scavengeable resource. Running the engine with poor oil is a plausible risk, but the exact damage model and service interval are not documented. | |
WaterConfirmed Found: Water coolers, containers, melted snow | Food & water | Hydration. | The press kit says players can melt snow for water. Hydration was rebalanced in demo v0.19.2, including pee needs. Contaminated drinks exist; the game does not publish a complete purification ruleset. | |
Water coolerConfirmed Found: Interiors and points of interest | World object | A water container found in the world — but not always safe. | Added in update 0.9.4 as a new environment water container. The developer warning is explicit: “it’s not always water in there.” Treat unknown coolers as a gamble until you can identify the contents. | |
FoodConfirmed Found: Cabins, POIs, cooking and foraging | Food & water | Hunger management. | Food can be found, foraged, hunted or cooked. The Cooking Bench crafts food and survival supplies. The official feature list mentions hunting, while the published roadmap lists wildlife as a full-release milestone; the exact Early Access hunting scope is not clearly documented, so treat hunting as a design goal rather than a confirmed launch system. | |
Protein barConfirmed Found: Craftable | Food & water | Warms the player for 3–5 minutes, according to the developer. | Added in the July 2026 patch. The developer describes it as warming you for 3 to 5 minutes “without any side effect, I promise!” It is a craftable food item, not a substitute for proper cold management. | |
PainkillersConfirmed Found: Craftable at a cooking bench | Medical | Crafted medical supply. | The Cooking Bench can craft painkillers. The game has fall damage and heavy impacts can stun the player, but the exact effect, duration and addiction or overdose system are not published. Do not assume painkillers heal structural injuries. | |
Anti-frost pillsConfirmed Found: Craftable at a cooking bench | Medical | Crafted cold-protection supply. | Listed by the developer as a Cooking Bench recipe. The name implies cold resistance, but the exact duration, stacking rules and side effects are not documented. Body temperature remains the primary system to watch. | |
ScrapObserved Found: Salvage, wrecks, POIs and recycling | Crafting materials | Common crafting currency/material. | Scrap appears as a crafting cost in official workbench screenshots. The crafting UI shows separate resource counters (the screenshots also show Organics and Chem), and recipes are gated by bench tier and blueprint research. Costs seen in screenshots have changed between builds, so we do not publish a current price list. | |
Organic materialsConfirmed Found: World loot and recycling | Crafting materials | A recyclable crafting resource introduced in the beta. | The closed-beta crafting overhaul added “a new recyclable resource: Organic.” The July patch increased how much Organic can be found in the world. Exact conversion recipes are not published. | |
ChemObserved Found: Not documented | Crafting materials | A crafting resource shown in the workbench UI. | The official workbench screenshot shows a Chem counter alongside Scrap and Organics. No public recipe list explains which items require Chem. Treat the screenshot as proof of the resource, not a complete material guide. | |
BatteriesConfirmed Found: POIs, wrecks and crafting | Power | Vehicle starting power, portable power and base storage. | The publisher lists batteries among scavengeable supplies. Extra batteries are a confirmed mobile-base upgrade for powering heaters and lights. The engine panel shows battery start cost and charge rate; exact battery capacities are not published. | |
Repair kitsConfirmed Found: Craftable; found in POIs | Tools | Repairs vehicle damage. | Levels 1–3 exist. Official screenshots show Good and Excellent repair kits. Repair amounts and whether a kit can fix a deformed chassis or only a part are not documented. Carry more than one if you plan to drive fast on unmarked roads. | |
Flare gunObserved Found: Craftable; blueprint research required | Tools | Calls an emergency air drop. | The in-game description says the flare gun calls an emergency air drop in your surroundings. Air drops are a confirmed off-road event. The number of uses, drop contents and whether the drop can be lost in a storm are not published. | |
FlashlightObserved Found: Craftable | Tools | Portable light. | The Old Flashlight appears in official crafting screenshots. A patch fixed a stutter the first time the flashlight was used. Night driving and dark interiors are confirmed, so a light source matters; exact battery life is unknown. | |
Ice scraperObserved Found: Craftable | Tools | Scrapes frost from the windscreen. | The Plastic Ice Scraper appears in official crafting screenshots. Demo v0.18.0 added a third-person frost effect that adapts to how much frost the player has scraped, confirming windscreen frost is a real visibility mechanic. | |
SledgehammerObserved Found: Craftable | Tools | Breaks and builds physical objects. | The developer mentions walls broken with a sledgehammer persisting after a save. Good and Excellent variants appear in official crafting screenshots. Durability and damage values are not published. | |
Revival kitConfirmed Found: Starting garage in 2–4 player runs; craftable status not confirmed | Tools | Revives downed co-op teammates. | Added for 2–4 player groups in the demo patches, with kits available in the starting garage. This is a multiplayer-only tool; solo players have no one to revive. | |
Cargo boxObserved Found: Craftable; found as loot | Cargo | Keeps loose supplies together. | A craftable storage box seen in official screenshots. Boxes are physical; they can be packed into a car, trailer or RV. Cargo can shift, and a bad crash can throw supplies into the snow. | |
DecorationsConfirmed Found: World loot | Comfort | Personalise the rig and make a mobile base feel lived-in. | The publisher explicitly lists silly decorative objects and goofy trinkets. Decorations are physical objects with weight. They are not confirmed to provide any gameplay buff. | |
InstrumentsConfirmed Found: Uncovered in the world | Comfort | Play music in the world or base. | Confirmed by the publisher. Instrument types and multiplayer sync details are not documented. No gameplay effect beyond flavor has been announced. |
